As you may have seen, just over a month ago I organised my first collaboration and styled shoot. It was such a great experience. I never realised how much time and effort goes into organising something like this but I had so much fun along the way. It helped that I was working with such wonderful people too.
I couldn’t wait to share the photos and so a couple of days later I posted some sneaky peeks on the blog. I also drafted up an email to Lou at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings to see if she would be interested in featuring my photos. I was going to send it later when I was ready. The very next day I thought I was imagining things when I saw an email from Lou in my inbox. I panicked and wondered if I had accidently sent my draft email before it was ready! But some how Lou had seen the pictures on my little blog and wanted to feature them!
The whole experience has felt so serendipitous. Since that first coffee date with Winnie, everything seemed to just fall into place. From my contact with Minna to the beautiful farm that Zoe put us in touch with. Not to mention that beautiful hot air balloon that just happened to fly over the farm and the email experience with Lou. The temperamental UK weather even decided to shine down on us!
Whilst these shoots are not easy to bring together and I was SO tired at the end of the day, I found the entire experience so exhilarating. So much so that ever since then my mind has already been working in overdrive trying to think of something special for my next one!
Today they finally featured on WWW! Sooooo very exciting! 😀
