INSPIRATION

“Real bride Rijuta hosted several bridal events for friends and family leading up to her Indian wedding, which inspired this intimate bridal tea party shoot with a Brooklyn twist. She wears a traditional lehenga by Anushree Reddy with marigold, canary yellow and pistachio hues that perfectly accents the colors of the Prospect Park Boathouse.“

DESIGN

This shoot brought together the light and breezy colors of spring and the richer, deeper hues of fall for an interesting twist on pastels. Tropical florals are an unexpected choice amidst the clean lines of the venue and the traditional Indian attire, but the team at Bloom Bar‘s vision and execution is impeccable. The aesthetics are tied together by Himalayan pink salt, marigolds, tea leaves and pistachios – all Indian influences which gracefully tied in the bride’s roots and culture.
