When I got the message from Claire that she was finally marrying the main man in her life and she wanted me to be the one to shoot her wedding, I was filled with so much excitement. I’ve known Claire for a long time – we went to school together and she’s always been such a big personality – someone who never fails to make me laugh ’til my stomach literally hurts. My memories of Claire are full of laughter, happiness and good times. Claire and Tim’s wedding was no exception. They got married at the gorgeous Ripponlea Estate in Melbourne on a gloriously sunny day. Claire looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Raffaele Ciuca. There was a beautiful song secretly rehearsed and performed by the bride for the groom, subsequent unexpected emotions, followed by a tonne of fun and dancing. When I first met Tim I thought he was lovely. We spoke about our experiences living in London and I remember thinking that as different as they are, Claire has definitely found her match. As Tim said in his speech, they balance each other out. I later found out that Tim and I share the same birthday – so it only makes sense that he’s awesome – only the best people are born on that day! 😉 Tim and Claire, you are such a genuine pair (unintentionally sounding like the start of a poem…sorry!) and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for insisting that I be the one to capture your wedding story. And here it is….
