Emer and John are Irish and coincidentally, were living in my hometown in Australia when they got engaged. They decided to get married in Italy as it would be easily accessible to their Irish friends and family and they dreamed of having a beautiful intimate outdoor wedding. They decided on the gorgeous Villa Catureglio in Tuscany as a venue and what a wonderful choice it was! I was so lucky to be asked to shoot this wedding alongside the lovely Katie Julia. It really was such a stunning setting and such a beautiful, fun bunch of people. Emer and John married in a beautiful little Italian church and then had their wedding breakfast outdoors at Villa Catureglio. It was so lovely to witness them celebrating their love with their nearest and dearest underneath the summer skies which were lit ever so beautifully by fairy lights. One thing is for sure; the Irish are a fun bunch and definitely know how to party!
